How thankful i find myself to have work with the forgotten one of our time in America. One of my favorite memories is a little old lady that was a Sunday school teacher she would sing Jesus love me, over and over all day. Some found that trying on there ears but for me i looked forward to seeing and singing with her each day she was a little ray of sun shine, in all the sadness. I find my self once again looking for the lessons and blessings, the more i look the more i see. We are a strong nation, and i love that there are thoughs out there helping all over the world. Yet were will we be if we as a stong nation fall our children and fall our elderly i think about what do other country see in us. What is your thoughs? Talk soon s.

The Bethlehem Experience. my hope is that it will get people thinging on the gift of the birth of Christ. Go to http://www.gotobethlehem.com/ and check it out.
some came from a fair to help, and are not members of this chruch, yet they gave up there day to help set up. It was great every one pitching in and working together young and old it was a fun day. Then off to the birthday party at the park, can you remember your 18th?
i am sure this will be a birthday she will remember for ever. the kids BBQ'ed calif style, friends came but had to cut it short at 4:30 she had to work, i can remember working on my 18th. Was working in a convalescent home form the age of 15 1/2, with the elderly the ones with no family or family that is unable to care. Now i find myself in my late 40's working with foster kids the ones with no family or ones that are unable to care for waht ever reason. i have recieved blessing in both to see these young one with hope, and the lesson i learn for the old.

last week poem was A TRIP TO XIANGSHAN (FRAGRANT HILLS) PARK written by Br. Peter Lhou Bangjiu. O.S.B. this poem came from the book he wrote : Dawn Breaks in the East. A Benedictine Monk's 26 Ordeal in the Prisons of Communist China in Defense of his Faith. Enjoying the book and have enjoyed some special moment in the presents of this quiet man.
OK FOR THIS WEEKS POEM :
Though the fire, You see us finished
For You see beyond, to who
we'll be
For you see our souls perfected
At the heart of your desire Lord you
see us finished through the fire.

PENNY'S FROM HEAVEN
THE MONTH OF OCT. reminds me of penny's - he would always say never be to lazy to bend over to pick up a penny. school yards the high school he worked at as a janitor the kids would pitch money at the wall they left the penny's and would laugh at him for picking them up, childhood he was there for me as a kid in so many ways. When he died all the penny's were in old fashion 5 gal. milk cans. The smell of a pipe, he would hind the pipe under the house wasn't suppost to smoke. The impish look in his eyes, he did things like messing up your hair just for the fun of it. And a little red hair girl a goose and the pain on his face when the goose got her, he loved kids. A gypsy costume, what i was wearing when i found out that he died. a front porch with a swing, were we spent time talking and watching him in the garden. there is a great pic of him with a giant cabbage from the harvest. He was an example of a father, step father, husband he married a young woman that had had a baby out of wedlock she was 14 yrs old. He had known the heart ach and the lose of a child a son 3 years old. Penicillin is what the hospital gave him that lead to his funeral. He was a man with a big heart,a fisherman. Suspenders were his trade mark, the one thing i asked to have when he died. the month OCT. reminds me of all these things and more, rail roads and a railroad pocket watch. A old truck, a tall thin man, someone that would give you the shirt of his back. I can still hear the laugh when he told the story of snapping the head off of a copper head snake, as if it had just happened when it went through the kitchen window into the dish water wear his wife was doing the dishes. The two side tables in my home that mean more to me then any other pieces of furniture, because of the lessons i still learn from them, one mans trash is another treasure. These are some of the thing that have touched my heart they are memories of a loved one who died at the end of this month when i was 14 years old. I have not been back to his grave, i wore a off white dress and took a single white rose that day as a symbol of my love. I still hold him very dear to my heart, caring with me the lessons only a grandpa could give. I am looking forward to seeing him when my work is done, i pray to be used in the same why, he still touches life's. My GRANDPA was a special man i can only hope you now someone like him in your life time i was and am still blessed. i love you grandpa THANK YOU LORD for the memories.

TOURMALINE
Stones come in many forms i will for ever remember this day as i spent time with this sweet child i can't want to learn all he has to teach me !
You my ask why tourmaline: they are full of color, you can find them in green, blue green, blue, pink, watermelon, maybe it's because some would say i have a colorful personality, as you read these post my hope is to introduce myself in a full array of color. Some in my family tell me i can be funny, others see my sensitive side. This is my second attempted to the world of blogging, it's to share my life in all its colors as I grow and learn from you or not. They say the tourmaline is a hard stone and yes you guested it, hard is another color i have worn. Green is my favorite color because i love the out doors, blue in my jeans and the color of my hubbys eye's, brown for chocolate. Then you have red (Scarlet), yes i have worn that to. Then you have my colorful teasing or not, i told my son when he was young "i will show up to your wedding in my bloomers" (that was when he acted up). OK payback i have to say is in May! first i need to lose xxlbs, my goal to start a diet tomorrow. Last but not least when Bill pastway he left behind 6 stones that he had got on a trip to Brazil and one was a tourmaline i had it made into a ring. O yea and because this last Oct. i went to Oregon and stopped by this little shop and found a new reason to by a tourmaline, i just had to have that stone. Thanks for stopping bye talk soon.
